


Reverend Raisei Marc Anderson
Marc Anderson has been practicing meditation for 25 years. In 1993 he began studying Zen Buddhism with Dosho Mike Port at Clouds in Water Zen Center. He continues to practice in that community where he has served as Chair of the Board of Directors, practice leader, teacher and Temple Coordinator. In 2007 he was ordained in the Soto Zen lineage by Reverend Togen Moss.
Marc leads retreats, meditation classes and workshops for teachers, children, Christian communities and in the workplace. He offers lectures, classes and discussion groups on a wide variety of topics involving, Buddhism, creativity, society and spiritual life. Marc is an adjunct professor in the Department of Anthropology at Hamline University in St. Paul and an internationally recognized percussionist and composer.
